Tending the Flame

A Friday evening on a flower farm at sunset.
A circle of twenty women.

Pick a bouquet with your own hands, then gather under string lights for guided meditation, deep journaling, sound healing, and a collective blessing we build together.

This is not a workshop — it's ceremony.

✿ 6:00 - 9:00pm

✿ McLawland Farms, Charlotte, NC

Something is stirring in you.
You already know it.

Maybe it's a dream you keep dismissing. A direction you're afraid to take seriously. A quiet knowing that something is trying to change — but you can't see the full picture yet, so you keep waiting. Keep holding. Keep calling it nothing.

You planted a seed somewhere along the way. A dream. A direction. A knowing. And now you're in the messy middle of tending it — watering something you can't see, trusting a process you can't control, keeping faith when nothing looks different yet.

This is where most women quit.
This retreat is for the woman who refuses to.

Beltane is the ancient fire festival of new growth — the moment on the wheel of the year when the spark catches, and things come alive. On a Friday evening at McLawland Farms, a working flower farm on the edge of Charlotte, we'll gather to honor what's emerging. Not force it. Not fix it. Tend it.

You'll walk through fields in golden evening light and pick a bouquet to take home in a ribboned mason jar. You'll sit around tables in a circle under a covered pavilion strung with lights for guided meditation, powerful journaling, and intimate sharing with women who are also in the messy, beautiful middle of becoming. And as the sun sets, you'll lie down for a sound bath — singing bowls resonating through the wood floor while the evening settles around you.

You'll leave carrying flowers,
a collective blessing written by every woman in the circle,
and — maybe — a different relationship with the thing you've been too afraid to tend.

Because the flame doesn't need to be a bonfire to be real. It just needs tending.

The Retreat Flow

✿ Arrive & Receive

Walk onto the farm as the evening softens. A ribboned mason jar is waiting for you with a personal affirmation card tucked inside. Refreshments, an open-air pavilion, string lights beginning to glow. The retreat begins before a word is spoken.

❋ Walk & Gather

An intentional walk through the flower fields in golden hour light. Pick what calls to you — not what looks perfect. Build your bouquet as a practice in trusting what's emerging. This is Beltane embodied.

◌ Settle & Go Inward

Return to the pavilion and gather around the tables. A grounding earth meditation followed by a guided flame visualization. Notice the fire inside you - is it a candle or a bonfire? What does it need?

✦ Write & Discover

Powerful journaling prompts that will surprise you. The kind of questions that make your pen move before your mind can edit. This is where the real work lives.

◎ Share & Be Witnessed

Two intimate partner shares — one playful, one deeper. Every woman is heard by two different people. No advice. No fixing. Just presence. For many, this is the most transformative part.

❂ Bless & Release

Together we build a collective loving-kindness blessing — each woman offering one phrase as a rock passes around the circle. Words emerge that no one planned. This becomes yours to keep.

☽ Rest & Integrate

A singing bowl sound bath as the sun sets and the string lights take over. Flowers beside you, the collective blessing still resonating, the evening wrapping around you. Everything you stirred up settles into your body.

The flame doesn’t need to be a Bonfire to be real, it just needs tending
